Now accepting Submissions for Issue I of Culture Shelf Magazine
Culture Shelf currently accepts submissions including: multimedia reviews, opinion essays, short fiction, poetry, and critical analysis. Work previously published in any form will not be considered. All submissions will be reviewed and feedback should be expected within three weeks of submission.

Submissions for the inaugural issue of Culture Shelf Magazine will be accepted through December 31st, 2026. Please include your name and email address in your submission. Submissions are limited to 2,000 words and should either consist of creative non-fiction or personal essays related to media, with the theme of "Imagination and Creation", or the relationship between creators, imagination, and their audiences. Great submissions focus on the convergence of the arts and their cultural denouements.
